Fourth-grade students from West Teays Elementary School in Hurricane are teaming up with the Wright Minds Foundation for "Lemonade Days at Appalachian Power Park" on Saturday, Aug. 22.
During the baseball game between the West Virginia Power and Lakewood BlueClaws, which starts at 7:05 p.m., the students will sell lemonade, with all profits and donations going to the West Virginia Alzheimer's Association.
Game tickets can be purchased in advance at www.wvpower.com. By entering the code "Lemonade" when ordering tickets, $2 from each ticket sale will go the state Alzheimer's Association.
A fireworks display will follow the game.
Appalachian Power Park is located at 601 Morris St. in Charleston.
The Wright Minds Foundation is a Scott Depot-based, nonprofit organization formed last year to increase awareness of Alzheimer's disease and support families who have been affected by the disease.
