Frances M. Carson, 76, of Campbells Creek, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Hubbard Hospice House.
She was born Feb. 22, 1939 in Charleston, a daughter of the late John Edward Kidd and Anna Elizabeth Tyree Kidd. She was preceded in death by her brothers, George and Donald Kidd, and one sister, Delores Cline.
Frances was retired from the West Virginia State Department of Highways. Her life revolved around her kids, grandkids and pets. She was the best mother, grandmother one could ever ask God to place in their life.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan Butler of Charleston and Toni Nelson of Pinch; grandsons, Ronnie Butler (Lindsey) of North Carolina and Anthony Butler of Morgantown; granddaughter, Arianna Stepp of Pinch; one sister, Catherine Facemyer (James) of Newton; several nieces and nephews; and special neighbor and friend, Maxine Mace of Campbells Creek.
Graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 20, at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes, with Pastors Dave Bowen, David Kidd and the Rev. Frieda Smith officiating. Burial will immediately follow in the cemetery.
