Gordon G. Harper, 81, of Poca, passed away Dec. 10, 2015.
He was born July 15, 1934, to the late Farmer and Minnie Bell Slater Harper.
He was also preceded by a sister, Marie; brothers, Cecil and Eugene.
Gordon is survived by his loving family, children, Charline, Ervin, Robin and Lorie; longtime friend, Debra Jenkins; sisters, Mary of Ohio, Berthie of Fla.; aunt, Ethel and uncle, Okey; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; sweet family friend, Tina; and his many friends.
Funeral service will be held Mon. Dec. 14, at Elk Funeral Home, 2001 Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston, with Brother Okey Reed officiating. Private burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, South Charleston. Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Mon. at the funeral home.
