Kenneth Ray Carte, 58, of Birch River, entered into rest Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015 at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Born Aug. 17, 1957, in Braxton, he was the son of the late Delbert Carte and Wanda Doddrill.
His favorite things to do were hunting and fishing.
Kenneth is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Carte of Virginia, Missy Vaughn of Newton and Amanda Care of Summersville; four grandchildren; 13 nieces and nephews; sisters, Beverly Legg of Sutton, Deloris Smith of Ohio and Joyce Woods of Heaters; and brother, Tim Carte of Birch River.
His request for cremation has been honored.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Walnut Grove Church, Walnut Grove.
