Philip Ray Casto, 73, of Hewett, died Aug. 11, 2015 at the Veterans Affairs Hospital, Huntington.

Phil was preceded in death by his father, Girt Casto, and was an Army veteran.

He is survived by his mother, Hazel Casto of Hewett, sisters, Karen (Stanley) Dolin of Ottawa and Ann (Frank) Smith of Morrisvale; daughter, Debra (Harry) Chambers of Foster; sons, Steven Casto of Houston, Texas, and Jonathan (Amanda) of Fort Stewart, Ga.; grandchildren, Nich (Jenna) Jeffrey of Alum Creek, Jillian Jeffrey of Lake and Sara Chambers of Foster; and great-grandchildren, Logan Jeffrey and Kaylee Ball and Jonathan Ball.

The family would like to thank all those who prayed, called, visited and helped in any way during this sad time.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, with the Rev. Jack Kinder officiating. Burial will follow in Family Gardens, Madison, with military graveside rites by Daniel Boone VFW Post 5578, Madison.

Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
