A person was ejected and a second entrapped in a single vehicle crash on Interstate 79 near Elkview late Tuesday.
It happened at about 10:50 p.m. near mile marker 8 just past the Elkview/Frame Road exit in the southbound lanes of Interstate 79.
Kanawha Metro 911 dispatchers said a Jeep with two occupants rolled leaving one person trapped beneath it.
That person was pulled from under the SUV, but their condition wasn't immediately available. One person was taken to Charleston Area Medical Center's General Hospital by ambulance.
A second person was reportedly ejected from the Jeep but first responders were not able to immediately locate that person. A second ambulance was at the scene.
Kanawha sheriff's deputies responded with county paramedics and Pinch volunteer firefighters.
