Kortney Dawn Lemon

Kortney Dawn Lemon, 25, and unborn child, Nadia Faith Lemon, of St. Albans, passed away peacefully and went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 31, at her home.

Kortney was the daughter of Kim and Rob Benson of Ravenswood and Ken and Karen Barnett of Given.

She was a member of Charleston Mountain Mission Church, on the west side of Charleston.

She is survived by her loving husband, James Robert Lemon, and their two daughters, McKenna Grace Lemon and Lydia Hope Lemon, of St. Albans.; brother, Kurtis Barnett of Fairplain; stepbrother, Ryan Benson of Parkersburg; stepsisters, Amy Miller of Ravenswood and Christina Long of Fairplain; maternal grandparents, Phil and Gail Pringle of Fairplain; and paternal grandparents, Bill and Wilma Barnett of Given. Additional loving family members include grandparents, Ron and Susan Gaskins of Evans; mother- and father-in-law, Leann and Bobby Hicks of Dunbar; aunt and uncle, Leslie and Pat Boggess of Given; brother- and sister-in-law, Richard and Tia Lemon of Hurricane; and cousins, Chelsey, Lindsey and Nathan Boggess of Given and Sebastian and Isabella Lemon of Hurricane.

Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with Pastor Kenneth Petry officiating. Burial will follow in Ravenswood Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood.
