Donald Lee Taylor, 74, of Chester, Va., passed away Friday, July 24, 2015.
He was a 1960 graduate of Clendenin High School. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hoyt and Freda Beard Taylor.
He is survived by his wife, Lee Taylor; son, Larry Wayne Taylor and wife, Karen Hanson Taylor; daughter, Kimberly Dawn Meade and husband, John Meade; grandchildren, Hannah Elizabeth Lankford, Russell Braden Simmons, Margaret Cromwell, James Cromwell III and Kelsie Cruz; sister, Myrtle June Chandler; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 28, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home, Chester, Va. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
