The West Virginia Chaos soccer team defeated the Carolina Dynamo 2-0 Friday in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Nick McDonald netted the first goal in minute 47 and Alex Zidani added cushion with a goal in minute 59.
The Chaos returns home June 27 to face the Dynamo again at 7:30 p.m. at Schoenbaum Field in Coonskin Park.

MARSHALL BASEBALL: Marshall announced the addition of left-handed catcher Sam Finfer to its 2016 signing class Friday. Finfer comes to the Herd as a transfer from Bellevue College in Bellevue, Washington.
Finfer was selected in the 29th round of the 2013 MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers, but opted to attend Seattle University for his freshman year. He then transferred to Bellevue for his sophomore year, where he started 36 games with eight doubles and three home runs with 21 RBIs.
