Blanche "Pete" Hill, 95, of Clendenin, passed away Tuesday February 9, 2016, at 10:06 p.m. at the Williams Wilson Home in Waverly, Ohio.
She was the daughter of P.R. and Fannie Naylor Rucker. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years, James R. Hill; brothers Russell "Jake", Raymond, and Don Rucker; sisters, Ruby Morrison, Madeline Rucker, and Radie Ferrell. She is survived by her foster daughter (niece), Toni (Gary) Sager of Waverly, Ohio; grandson, Chris (Tiffany) Sager of Orient, Ohio; granddaughter, Jennifer (Darrel) Leibolt of Ashland, Ohio; one great-granddaughter; brother, Larry (Donna) Rucker of Jane Lew, W.Va.; sisters, Oreda "Bill" Mick of Teays Valley, W.Va., Wilma McQuain of Nitro, W.Va., and Shirley "Connie" Cobb of Elkview, W.Va.
A small graveside service is planned for family only, however due to frigid temperatures will be conducted and held inside at Hafer Funeral Home, Elkview, W.Va. on Sunday, February 14, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Darrel Leibolt officiating.
The family wishes to thank the amazing staff of the Williams Wilson Home that provided excellent loving care.
She will be remembered for her bubbly, vibrant personality, and treasured dearly in our hearts forever.
