Gloria Viginia Degler departed this life May 3, 2015 at the age of 80. She was a resident of Prescott Valley, Arizona. She died after a long battle with renal failure.
Gloria was born in Clarksburg, on Nov. 19, 1934 to Frank and Goldie Bunner. She married Keith K. Degler, June 22, 1948. She attended Morris Harvey College, majoring in nursing. She worked at Gilbert and Bennett in Dunbar, WV for 25 years. She was a member of the Worldwide Church of God.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; and her brothers, John and Frank. Her husband left this life in February 1999 after 49 years of marriage.
She is survived by her children, Keith T. Degler of Prescott Valley, Ariz., Penny Pavlicka of Prescott Valley and Kirk Degler of Mechanicsville, Md. She leaves behind seven grandchildren, Kimberly Kelly, Tina, Jeanetta, Kirk, Justin and Jeremy; and four great-grandchildren, Judah, Sophia, Jacob and Jesse. Also surviving her are her three loving cats, Keisa, Penny and Boos.
A graveside memorial service will be held 11 a.m. July 10, at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens in Cross Lanes, WV.
