n Mark Hindle is a former district manager for Charleston Newspapers. Now he works in Kanawha City carrying papers around Lippert Terrace, Noyes Ave, etc. He is the best carrier ever. On Sunday I'd rather get more coupons than advertisements.
n If you wonder why the utility companies keep their doors locked, I think it is because they are afraid somebody will come in there and start shooting because of the way they are treating the public. They are robbing us without guns.
n I heard that there is a bed bug epidemic in Charleston. Why can't they have someplace you can go to get help for this?
n It is a shame that the electric bill has to raise due to the lack of coal-powered electric plants in the Obama administration and our electric bills will continue to rise. We need coal. It is there for a reason. Obama is using three to one natural gas to power the plants. It is a shame. No one is complaining about Obama's attack on coal.
n The roadway on both sides of Whittington Hill is in bad shape. It is atrocious. I don't care what the DOH paving schedule says. Paving doesn't match reality. When visitors from out of state or the country come it is an embarrassment. Get out and do the job.
n Danny Jones couldn't ruin Coonskin Park although I'm sure he'd like to. The park belongs to the county. Little Creek Park has a lot of football and baseball fields. But don't forget to hit the hiking trails because they are pretty good, too.
n John Sununu, the former governor of New Hampshire and the author of a brand new book titled "The Quiet Man" about Bush says that George H. W. Bush was never given enough credit for his domestic and foreign policies. He says Bush was indispensable. No one on this planet is indispensable. It is about time people realize this. Especially the Bushes and Clintons.
n I recently paid $75 to rent a shelter at Little Creek Park. The restroom left a lot to be desired. There was only one commode. There was no stall, soap or paper towels. I had guests from two different states there and I was very embarrassed.
n People who work to "have" like to preserve. Those who have money think it is more money than it is worth to preserve? Save junk. Save Top-O-Rock.
n Snoopy the beagle for president.
n I want to thank a very kind nurse named Amanda at Charleston General Hospital psych unit. She was so sweet. She is a great person and she is the one to see.
n Public Service Commission? Oh, I meant the Utilities Service Commission.
n Is there any chance they could cut some positions on Elizabeth Street so we could have more classroom teachers? They keep having more administrators and it doesn't do a thing to help the kids.
n Ben Carson is an interesting candidate. Not a politician. To be a neurosurgeon he has to have a brain and I do think we need a brain in the White House. He knows how to straighten things out and I know this because I heard him speak a couple of years ago.
n It is going to be a hard choice between all of the good Republican candidates. Scott Walker seems to be doing well. They have a lot of candidates who could take the nomination, but the Democrats don't have any.
n When are the citizens of West Virginia going to start demanding more from the utility companies in this state? At least once a month we are without water, power or gas.
n Did those who complain about Danny get out and vote? If not, shut up. We've got four more years of Danny. I voted.
n Hello. I would like to put my opinion in here. Here is my opinion. I live in the Sissonville area and there is a property straight across from me. They are working on it. Filling in big old holes using a state truck. This is for an individual's private property.
n The response of the Democrats to Cole running for governor was laughable. It was shrill and pitiful. Treating him like this. Calling him a "used car salesman." Oooh.
