Jeffrey Todd Arthur, 41, of Nitro, passed away peacefully at Hubbard Hospice House West on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.
Todd was a lifelong resident of Nitro, a graduate of Nitro High School and was employed at Lowe's at Nitro Market Place with 21 years of service. He was raised in Nitro Church of God.
He was the beloved son of David and Linda Arthur and brother to Tessa Baker (David). He leaves behind to cherish his memory, niece, Kambrie, and nephew, Kaid. Todd is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, and leaves behind a host of friends and co-workers.
A service to celebrate Todd's life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, at Nitro Church of God with Pastors Rob VanFossen and David McCormick officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church, 15th Street and 2nd Ave, Nitro, WV 25143, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Todd's name to either Nitro Church of God, 1517 2nd Ave, Nitro, WV 25143, or Hubbard Hospice House West, 4605 MacCorkle Ave. SW, South Charleston, WV 25309.
