James Edward Harper, Jr., 74, of Sissonville, passed away Friday, Dec. 4, 2015 at home.
He was a 30-year employee of Broughton Dairy and also a member of Teamsters Local No. 175.
James was preceded in death by his parents, James and Goldie Harper, and siblings, Benton, Delores, Thelma and Marie.
He is survived by his son, James E. Harper III; daughters, Kathleen (Ben) Hogue, Melissa (Coy) Payne and Victoria (Robert) Hudson; sisters, Meretha (Harold) White and Charlotte Smith; brothers, Deanea Harper and Roger (Shirlene) Harper; six grandchildren, Ben Jr., Amber, Mitchell, Rachel, Andrea and Rebecca; and great-granddaughter, Kensley.
Burial will be at a later date at Derricks Cemetery, Derricks Creek Road, Sissonville.
