Wilbur Junior Asbury, 69, of Oak Hill, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by the love of his family on Sunday, November 22, 2015.
Born on July 21, 1946 in Page, WV and is the son of the late Wilburn Hansford Asbury and Thelma R. Coleman Asbury.
Junior loved buying junk and selling antiques and woodworking. He enjoyed joking with people and making them laugh. He especially loved spending time with his family. Junior graduated from Collins High School Class of 1966 and was employed by Long Air Dock and UPS. Junior also served our country in the United States Navy. He was the youngest of 12 children.
Those left to carry on his legacy are his loving wife of 17 years, Rebecca Boggess Asbury; children, Holly Keith and husband Michael of Oak Hill, Monty Asbury of Oak Hill, Andy Asbury and wife Deana of Fayetteville, and Josh Asbury of Scarborough, Maine; step-son, Cliff Massey of Fayetteville; brother, Larry Asbury of New Mexico; grandchildren Taylor Asbury of Oak Hill, Kayla, Seth, and Daniel Asbury all of Fayetteville, Michael and Nathan Keith of Oak Hill and Jasper Rain of Oak Hill.
