LaDonna Faye (Mack) Kay, 64, of Charleston, died Sat. Nov. 14, 2015, at home, after a long illness.

Donna was born April 30, 1951, to Louie and Francis Mack. She was a 1969 graduate of DuPont High School, and attended West Virginia State College. She worked for the Kanawha County Board of Education for 29 years, and spent 28 of those years at Piedmont Elementary as a Kindergarten Aide. She attended Goldtown Community Church.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and maw maw.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Donna is survived by her husband, Jimmy of Charleston; her sons, Jimmy of Blythewood, S.C., Tim of Eleanor; and daughter, Julie (Steve) of Sissonville; grandsons, Dylan and Evan Kay of Nitro, and Stevie and Alex McCollam of Sissonville; brother, Andrew Mack of Richmond, Rhode Island; sisters, Jane Horstman of Christiansburg, Va., June Kirk of Ventura, Calif. and Patricia Miller of Rand; her sweet little yorkie, Mack; one nephew, George Terry of Paris, Ky.; one niece, Sarah Mullins of Cabin Creek.

A visitation with family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Mon. Nov. 16, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tues. Nov. 17, also at the funeral home with Rev. Al Mendez officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorial contributions be made to Goldtown Community Church, Kenna, WV or the Charity of your choice.
