Margaret Sue Bridgette, 87, of Cross Lanes, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 9, 2015 at Hubbard Hospice House West.
She was retired from Kanawha Banking and Trust, attended Perrow Presbyterian Church, Lakewood Church of God and Cross Lanes Baptist Church. Sue was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her grands and greats affectionately called her "Mama Sue."
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, David "Whitey" Bridgette, and her daughter, Vicki Sue Bridgette.
She is survived by her sons and their wives, Ron and Becky Bridgette of Cross Lanes and Ed and Debbie Bridgette of Poca; grandchildren, Brian Bonsall (Jacquie), Candi Duran (Steve), Travis Bridgette (Marsha), Tara Phillips (Luke), Amanda Bridgette and Meghan Burke (Joe); and great-grandchildren, Clay, Katie, Caitlyn, Ryan, Kailey, Kade, Kenzie, Anna, Grace, Maggie, Owen, Josie, Emmie Jane and Silas. Sue is also survived by her sisters, Nancy Baumberger and Pat Ryan.
A service to celebrate Sue's life will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, at Cross Lanes Baptist Church with Pastor Brandon Carter and Pastor Larry McCallister, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the church.
