Jeanne Broemson

Jeanne Johnson Broemson, 48, left this earth for her heavenly home on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015 at CAMC General Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born Dec. 30, 1966 and was a 1985 graduate of Herbert Hoover High School. Many of Jeanne's classmates will remember her long, beautiful curly hair, and her ability to always find the best in everyone she met. She loved riding motorcycles and 4-wheelers, but most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her father, Andy Johnson; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Lincoln; maternal grandfather, William R. Lincoln; paternal grandfather, Charles R. Johnson; paternal grandmother, Irene Johnson; stepfather, Steve Bennett; aunts, Carol Jean Clark and Jean Lincoln, for whom she was named; and uncle, Edward R. Lincoln.

She is survived by her husband, Dale Broemson; daughter, Leslie Ann Raab and husband, Taylor Raab; grandchildren and the loves of her life, Kaydence, Theron and Alicia Raab; mother and stepfather, Mary Lincoln Beam and Joe B. Beam of Charleston; sister, Susan Johnson; sister-in-law, Major Sandra Reed, US Army (Ret.) of Richmond, Va.; brother, Charles Andrew "Drew" Johnson II and wife, Yelena Johnson, and daughter, Chloe Johnson, of Lewisburg; uncle, Frank Lincoln of Schenectady, N.Y.; aunt, Phyllis Lincoln of Rotterdam, N.Y.; nephews, Roman and Grish Makarenko; stepmother, Nora Johnson of Elkview; special cousin, Scott Clark and wife, Shellie, and children, Joseph and Mellie Clark, of Charleston; special cousin, Leigh Lincoln of Rotterdam, N.Y.; stepbrothers, Brad and Chad Beam of Belle; stepbrother, Rob Bennett and wife, Karen, and children, Isabella and Liam, of Baltimore, Md.; stepsisters, Deborah Bennett and Elizabeth Bennett and her son, Caleb, of Huntington; aunt, Hazel Lincoln of South Charleston; and numerous other family members.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at Coal Fork United Methodist Church, 451 Campbells Creek Drive, Charleston. Visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Jeanne requested that she be cremated, therefore, a burial service will not be held at this time.
