Gregory Leon Dunlap, 62, of St. Albans, passed away Wed. Oct. 14, 2015, at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.
Greg was born on April 16, 1953, in South Charleston. He graduated from St. Albans High School in 1971. Greg was employed by John Amos Power Plant in WV for twenty-plus years and Duke Power and Stamping Plant. He enjoyed many activities including golfing with his father, camping, fishing, canoeing, watching sports and grilling with his family on Sunday's. He was a devoted caretaker to his mother and her dog, Rocky, who became his furry companion. He was a kind and caring person with a great sense of humor and a heart of gold. Greg will be fondly remembered by all of his family and friends.
Greg was preceded in death by his father, Leon Valentino Dunlap and his mother, Ruby Jane Dunlap.
He is survived by his sisters, Sharon J. Dunlap of Charlotte, N.C. and Connie DeRito (John) of Charleston; and two nieces, Kara DeRito and Lia A. Fodi (Jonathan).
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sun. Oct. 18, at Bartlett-Chapman Funeral Home, St. Albans.
