Steven Andrew Galloway, 58, of Charleston, passed away Sept. 22, 2015 after a short illness with his family by his side. He was born April 3, 1957. He loved everyone and never met a stranger. He was a U.S. Army veteran and employed at 5th Quarter in Charleston. He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Eugene and Shirley Doris Galloway and Mary Ida Wallace.
Surviving are his wife of 24 years, Gail Galloway; father, Eli Wallace of Boomer; sisters, Shirl Lewis (Dan) of Beckley, Lorena Mitchell (Gordon) of Smithers, Dorethea Womack, Toni Wallace, Aileen Wallace McKinght and Loretta Wallace, all of Charleston, Traletta Wallace of Boomer and Marsha Boykins of Washington, D.C.; brothers, Calvin Wallace (Rosalyn) and Gregory Wallace (Kim), all of Montgomery; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Carbondale, with Pastor Isaac Kinney officiating. Burial will follow in Meadow Haven Memorial Park, Ingram Branch.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.
