Dr. Jill Justice, daughter of The Greenbrier owner Jim Justice and wife Cathy, wed fiance Adam Long, son of Charlie and Jo Long, of Frankford, West Virginia, on Saturday evening at The Greenbrier Chapel.

The ceremony was the first of many to be held at the newly built venue.

Justice recently completed her doctor of osteopathy residency at LewisGale Hospital Montgomery, in Blacksburg, Va. She is the owner of Gobble Cakes, a cupcake boutique in Blacksburg.

Long is a Lewisburg attorney.

The couple plans to reside in White Sulphur Springs.

Three antique church bells rang out after the ceremony in celebration of the union.

A reception was held at the Founder's Park at The Old White TPC and featured a surprise performance by singer Lionel Richie.

The Greenbrier Chapel is located at the foot of Presidents' Cottage Museum and Paradise Row Legacy Cottages on the grounds of The Greenbrier. It is composed of three floors, totaling 12,000 square feet.

The design is made to resemble a vintage chapel, with stained-glass cathedral windows created by longtime Greenbrier interior designer, Carleton Varney; custom-made chandeliers; copper roof and steeple louver shutters; clapboard siding; a large bell tower; "checkboard stained wood floors"; carved wooden pews that could seat over 450 guests; and a wrap-around balcony.

Modern features include a state-of-the-art sound system, separate areas for bridesmaids and groomsmen, a movable pulpit, circle drive specifically used for horse-drawn carriages.

A groundbreaking was held on April 15. Work was completed late last month.

Thrasher did the architectural engineering and design of the project, and Cochran & Agsten led the construction. The total cost of the project was $6.1 million.

Weddings, as well as non-denominational church services, will be held at The Greenbrier Chapel year-round.
