Morgantown police to hold diversity forums

The West Virginia University Office of Multicultural Programs and the Morgantown Police Department are sponsoring a series of open forums focused on improving relationships with minority communities, according to a news release from the police department.

The forums, called "Conversations with Cops," will begin with one focusing on the Hispanic community from 7 to 9 p.m on Thursday. at the Elizabeth Moore Hall Lounge on the WVU campus.

The other forums will be held on Oct. 8, focusing on the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community; on Feb. 4, focusing on the black community; and April 7 and April 14, focusing on Asian and Arab Americans.

All the forums go from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
