Boil-water advisories

West Virginia American Water has lifted a boil-water advisory for customers in Nitro. The advisory was issued for 17th Street, 18th Street, 19th Street, 20th Street, 21st Street, 22nd Street, 23rd Street, 24th Street, 25th Street, 1st Avenue, 2nd Avenue, 3rd Avenue, Dave Perry Way, Bank Street, 18th Street Hill, Penwood Avenue, Southern Drive and Short Street.

Beckley Water Company has lifted a boil-water advisory for customers on Union Hall Road, including all side streets.

The Raleigh County Public Service District has lifted a boil-water advisory for customers from the Ruben Loop to Lower Walhonda of the Arnett System.

The Department of Health and Human Resources has lifted the boil-water advisory issued for the town of Meadow Bridge.

West Virginia American Water has issued a boil-water advisory for approximately 100 customers in the Beckwith Road area of Fayetteville in the company's New River system. The affected area includes W.Va. 16 (Beckwith Road) from the wastewater plant to Oak Ridge tank as well as Goose Creek Road, Old Court Street, Bowling Road, CR-2/14 (Old Kanawha Turnpike) and any other side streets that lost water service following a water main break.

West Virginia American Water has issued a boil-water advisory for approximately 400 customers in the Tornado area. Affected roads include Smith Creek Road from Cedar Wood Lane to Coal River Road, Burns Lane, Ferrel Road, Runaround Road, Euclid Lane, Crawford Lane, Thomas Hollow Road, Gore Addition, Buckner Road, Maple Lane, Coal River Road from Falls Creek Road to Lincoln County line, Yoder Lane, 1st Avenue, 2nd Avenue, Riverview Drive, Allen Court, Pinehurst Drive, Greenbriar Way, Bel Aire Drive, Fawn Lane and Falls Creek Road. The advisory follows a rock slide on Smith Creek Road that broke a water main.

The Craigsville Public Service District has issued a boil-water advisory for customers from the Beaver Creek crossing, all of Alderson Church Road, and all of the Nile Road including all side roads from Nile Road. This advisory also includes the Cut Hill Tank customers.

Customers in these areas should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.
